Metallica is as good in person as they are in the movies and on television. Their performance was unique yet very simple, unlike many of their contemporaries who rely on special effects and choreographed stage shows. The show was awesome! This was my daughter's first concert, and it was a good experience for her. They interacted with the crowd and seemed genuinely happy to be here in Sacramento. The only negative of the night had more to do with the outdated arena they played in. The acoustics were terrible, and they didn't do them or their band justice, but they more than made up for that with stage presence and enthusiasm.
